BEARDEN JV TOPS WEST 24-8; CHASE BERRY LEADS DOGS WITH 3 TOUCHDOWNS AND 112 RUSHING YARDS

The Bearden Bulldogs Junior Varsity Football team travelled to West High School Monday night and came home with their 3rd consecutive victory.  

Sophomore Chase Berry paced the Dogs' offense, rushing for 112 yards on 19 carries and recording touchdown runs of 22, 7, and 4 yards.

Bearden's other score was a 30-yard interception return for a TD by Taylor Blaine.

Quarterbacks Evan White and Cameron Jones both had key 3rd down pass completions to keep Bulldog scoring drives alive.


The Dogs' defense had a strong game, holding the Rebels to only one score.

Cornerback Tommy Smith made numerous key tackles and added a 35-yard punt return.

Bearden will go after win number 4 next Monday night with a game at Hardin Valley Academy.
